The Pop-Up Chapel Co. returned to the beloved Koerner Gardens event space at Evergreen Brick Works to marry 18 couples over two days. A vibrant, groovy, and iridescent design created an unforgettable wedding experience!
Floral arrangements were masterfully created by Narcissus & Echo, featuring a rich tapestry of orange hues, salmon, coral, lavender, and creams, while the talented florists at May Flowers created fully custom bouquets and boutonnieres. Signage thoughtfully placed throughout the venue and a statement backdrop for the ceremony also added iridescent multicolored accents and wavy patterns, amplifying the ‘ripples’ theme.
A chic lounge area encouraged guests to relax and mingle during the mini cocktail hour portion of each chapel. This popular vignette included a striking blue velvet sofa and coordinating blue velvet chairs creating a bold contrast against the industrial Brickworks setting.

Although over a dozen couples shared the event, each pair infused their unique personalities into their private 60-minute celebration. All groups enjoyed the classy tunes played by Toronto Jazz Collective during their ceremony, and some chose to extend this live entertainment into cocktail hour. Others chose to include their furry companions in the ceremonies officiated seamlessly by Kim Adeney and Leonard Nolasco —a heartwarming gesture that perfectly aligned with the Pop-Up Chapel’s mission of inclusivity, welcoming everyone to celebrate love. After processing down the aisle, couples were delighted to clink their glasses with a soft *cheers* at the Tipsy Turny Trailer Mobile Bar, and some took the opportunity for a traditional cake cutting photo with their one-of-a-kind wedding desserts decked out in intricate vintage piping and vibrant buttercream from Kwento. Meanwhile, guests snacked on delicious light bites from Courage Cookies and Purplesful Snacking Gourmet popcorn.
Following their receptions, couples enjoyed their wedded bliss spending 30 minutes capturing outdoor portraits on the picturesque Brickworks grounds. These timeless moments, along with trendy décor details of the day, were captured by a team of skilled photographers, including The Organic Moment Photography, Alicia Thurston Photography, Luna Weddings Photography, Rita Kravchuk Photography, and Frances Rose West.
As a socially responsible and environmentally conscious business, The Pop-Up Chapel Co. took pride in supporting 18 couples who collectively donated $5,400 to Evergreen Children’s Garden, their venue partner’s charitable organization. This gesture underscored their commitment to making a positive impact paired with the joyful celebrations!
