Fresh, elevated, and oh-so-city-chic is how we would describe the nuptials of Krista and Kyle.
From the Bride: Kyle and I met during university. I had recently lost my brother, who Kyle was also friends with. Kyle brought light back into my life during what was a really dark time for me and has continued to bring me happiness every day since. There has always been a certain comfort in the fact that Kyle knew my brother and I didn’t need to attempt to explain what an incredible person he was.
The couple exchanged vows at the ultra hip Evergreen Brick Works, a space that has the perfect mix of personality and “blank canvas” so that the couple’s vision for their wedding could be easily brought to life. With a fun vintage feel to the festivities and tons of personal touches, you’re going to love these shots captured by the talented Oak & Myrrh Photography. Surrounded by gorgeous greenery and underneath the radiant sunshine, the couple shared their flirty first look and equally radiant photo session that was filled with precious moments and lots of laughs.
The couple’s outdoor ceremony embodied the essence of natural beauty. Blessed with a bright sky and the breathtaking scenery of Mother Nature, the couple made it official underneath a floral archway of pretty pastel flowers.
The couple dressed up the exposed bricks and beams of the space with dreamy string lights, suspended lush florals from Blush and Bloom, and organic textures and metallic touches. Centerpieces paired dainty pastel flowers with tons of candlelight, which added a romantic ambiance while personal tokens ensured the couple’s personalities shown throughout.
From the Bride: I wanted to try to combine an elegant style with a relaxed atmosphere for our guests. We loved our venue, Evergreen Brickworks, because it allows you to do just that. It feels like an escape from the city but also has such history and culture, within the heart of Toronto.
From the Bride: Having all of our friends and family surround us in such an amazing space was an incredible feeling. It’s the kind of happiness that makes it impossible to stop smiling.
