It all began with the devotion of a family and a single catering truck. In 1982, Louie Belcastro continued his father’s legacy at the young age of fifteen, operating “Joseph B. Snack Service.” Louie’s youthful energy, passion for food, and exceptional service allowed him to create a footprint in the mobile catering industry, emerging as a visionary leader in the field. With excitement and aspiration to serve new clients, Louie knew it was time to expand his business.
Classique Event Planning & Catering was founded in 2007 to offer an existing clientele unique, boutique-style catering. Classique produced events for thousands of high-profile clients and brands in Toronto across diverse sectors, including international food groups, media, builders, finance, law, fashion/beauty, and automotive.
In 2022, Louie’s daughter Alessandra joined the company, and positive momentum kicked into higher gear. Beginning with a rebrand, Alessandra positioned Classique as a modern caterer with an emphasis on class. Her event production and marketing experience aided the advancement of a traditional culinary culture. As trendsetters and international foodies, Classique brings a higher level of class, luxury, and experiences to every event.
