Very disappointed with the overall service and nature of this vendor. Family member booked a wedding ceremony only have the officiant cancel the day of!!! It was just hours before the ceremony when the officiant called to inform the groom that he was ill and could no longer attend. He quickly had a replacement sent over to do the ceremony instead. The replacement was his wife who had zero personality. She also failed to say the family name correctly… which is embarrassing. Days later after speaking to many other family members, friends, and coworkers we found out that he has done this many times before. You fall in love with him during the booking process only for him to back out last minute, send his wife, while he then attends to another ceremony. Talk about double dipping! This was not his first, second, nor third time doing this. We are very upset with how the ceremony played out… and quite frankly disgusted with this kind of behaviour. Future bride and grooms beware of the scam!!!

I’m sorry, but I don’t know where all these positive reviews are coming from. Maybe from the weddings Dennis actually shows up to. For him to reply to a comment today with his own 5 star rating to counter the 1 star that was left, and accusing her of being a liar is wild. I just got married last Saturday, and when we picked Dennis we actually felt a massive sense of relief after meeting him. He was excellent the way he explained how he does things, the “cues” we had planned for when do exactly do what during the ceremony. My wife and I both felt very comfortable. He attended our rehearsal the day before our wedding (which we had to pay more for which we had no problem doing). Then, 2 hours before the ceremony, while I’m taking pictures with my groomsmen, I see a missed called and message that he was not sure if he would make it as he may be sick. We all agreed not to mention it to the bride as she already was stressed and nervous about the day and did not want to add to it. His wife shows up to do the ceremony and tells me “she taught Dennis everything he knows” and we briefly went over the ceremony less than 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle with my parents. His wife was very unprofessional for the ceremony, she made a comment about me “skipping steps” in front of everyone as I was nervous and approached my wife a moment too early as she hadn’t hugged and said bye to her parents yet. She mispronounced my cousins name who did a reading. You’d think they would have had a conversation when he became sick and share his notes with her. Once it was time for the rings, my best man brought them over and when I went to grab my wife’s ring to put it on her finger, she makes the joke “her ring is the small one” ON THE MICROPHONE IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE WEDDING. I worked many hours to be able to buy my wife a ring and you belittle me about the size of it in front of everyone? Shame on you. She continued to mispronounce my last name very badly and not a hard name to pronounce, when introducing us as Mr and Mrs ____, so now our video will have that in it. The next day, my mother receives a message from a friend saying her son and his wife picked Dennis for their wedding and he did the same thing. Bailed the day of and sent someone else. I’ve since then heard of two other people have the exact same experience. You should be ashamed of yourself and abusing the authority of being an officiant and double dipping in ceremonies on the most important day of peoples lives. Absolutely disgusting and shameful. Dennis also contacted us weeks before our wedding and asked my wife if we were okay with sending the rest of the payment for him way before the due date, which we thought was odd but thought nothing of it because we really like Dennis and didn’t want to lose him. What an abomination. Should have license taken away. I understand being sick and having health issues, I’m not that awful of a person. But disclose that information to your damn clients before they sign with you and make a deposit with you. You can tell them hey I have a history of _______ so I cannot 100% guarantee my presence.
Will go out of my way to make sure other friends and family avoid this service.

My son got married August 15, 2026
And got a message the day of the wedding saying he was sick & was sending his wife,
She was horrible didn't s=even pronounce our name correctly when she announced the married couplies. His wife Pat had no emotion during the ceremony and was just reading off a script
She was terrible.
They are both scam artists & double book ceremonies Because Dennis is so charming he gets the couples to like him then cancels the day of and sends his wife.
And he goes to another wedding
Pleas don't book this guy
We just found out that he has done this to 4 couples that we personally know.
I called him a few days after my son's wedding and he showed no remorse
Buyer BEWARE PLEASE DON"T HIRE THIS GUY DENNIS.
