We specifically needed a bilingual MC in both English and Cantonese as we had guests from Canada and overseas. Roy handled the transition between both languages so naturally and professionally. He even provided live translations of our guests’ speeches, which was incredibly impressive — after listening to a speech for several minutes, he was able to immediately capture the key messages and convey them in the other language so naturally.
We also didn’t have much time to communicate beforehand — we only had an initial meeting and a 30-minute rundown finalization before the wedding. Despite that, Roy completely understood our vision and made sure everything ran smoothly while keeping our guests engaged throughout the night.
What impressed us the most was how he adapted the games on the spot based on the guests’ reactions and energy levels. He knew when to choose more interactive games and when to adjust the approach, which I think is something only an experienced MC can handle. Thanks to Roy, our guests were so engaged, and we received SO many compliments about our MC after the wedding!
