I love this place, before COVID, my husband and I would frequent Peter Pan for breakfast early in the morning before the crowd. Happy to find out via IG that they are now offering weekend BBQ! I ordered online the half-chicken with mac n cheese and bbq pork ribs with coleslaw and everything was so delicious!! The order took 20 minutes to make, picking it curbside was super easy and the staff was extremely friendly. Todays order reminded me of my family barbecue days which I miss so much. Love the food and thank you so much for the cookies on the side!
We were already fans of Peter Pan Bistro's brunch long before getting engaged. It was the first and only venue we visited and as soon as we saw the beautiful second-floor space we knew it was perfect for our 22 person brunch wedding. We wanted something classic and intimate, elevated but warm. Peter Pan is beautiful on its own or a blank canvas for your imagination. We also had a wonderful experience working with Jillian. She was friendly and excited during our first and subsequent site visits, very responsive during planning, and accommodating of working with our other vendors' schedules. The staff the day-of were friendly and professional. They worked diligently with our coordinator to 'flip' the space from ceremony to seated meal quickly and quietly while we enjoyed mimosas on the patio. We also had so many compliments on the food. We had a beautiful day celebrating and would happily recommend Peter Pan Bistro!
The stain glass arched windows, pressed tin roof and Art Deco lamps bring a sense of elegance, and the orientalist rugs as modern art add a twist to the place. A classic bar menu, with a wonderful wine list and attentive waiters make this a brilliant bistro to rest your shopping feet. The music is well rounded and it matches the venue. Perfect Saturday date night spot or spot on for the beginning of a great girls night chat fest.
I've come here on and off over 25 years.. Still a lovely place..I love the new decor, service was pleasant (a touch of four seasons on a casual level, my husband loved his butter lettuce salad with chicken (properly cooked and juicy).. My French onion soup needed way more broth.. It was more like an onion stew..I suggest a bigger bowl ($12 is a bit much for the size) and more cheese.. Nonetheless flavor was there.. we enjoyed the experience overall!
We just had our wedding at Peter Pan (ceremony & reception) and we are absolutely thrilled with how everything went. The venue itself is beautiful, the food was exceptional and the staff were very attentive. Jillian took all of the stress out of planning our wedding from the other side of the country and was very accommodating with all of our requests. Next time we're back in Toronto I'm looking forward to stopping in for dinner. I would highly recommend Peter Pan for your wedding or any other event.
