I had no idea what goes into planning an event like a wedding prior to hiring Lauren. Luckily, I still don’t completely know what goes into it. What I do know is that my wedding was phenomenal and three months later we are still hearing about how beautiful and well-planned it was from our friends and family (even strangers that have seen our photos on social media). My partner and I had a vision of an ‘enchanted forest’ fairy tale wedding and that’s exactly what Lauren gave us in less than 10 months. For my job, I live in Halifax during the school year while my partner lives in London. When people heard we were planning our wedding, they looked at us in disbelief believing that it would be next to impossible while living so far apart. The wedding, an East Indian 2-day affair, with 300 guests, in Toronto, went off without a hitch. We didn’t have to worry about forgetting any important details because Lauren was on top of it. As two busy professionals, we couldn’t have had a wedding like this without Lauren. For that, we are so thankful.

Kassia and Twelfth Night Events planned our wedding this summer. Hiring a wedding planner was an issue that we were, at first, very skeptical about. Thank God we ended up doing it.

Kassia was absolutely outstanding. She attended all of our important meetings, taking notes and ensuring that our vision for our wedding came true. She was also very cognisant of our budget, and made many recommendations which saved us a lot of money.
We chose to hire Twelfth Night as part of a partial wedding planning package. We had already selected a venue, decorator, and photographer. One thing we struggled with before hiring a wedding planner was the cost associated with it, and what services we would actually receive from that money. Not only were the services we received worth every penny (we had a large wedding, and the amount of work that Kassia did was very impressive), we were able to calculate approximately how much money Kassia saved us. Since we had already done some planning prior to hiring Twelfth Night, Kassia showed us how changing up some of our decisions would give us the same result for much less money. The savings we made with Kassia was nearly 5 times the cost of hiring Twelfth Night.

Kassia helped us avoid more than a few potential wedding disasters. Using her expertise, she was able to bring to our attention several red flags with the decorator we had chosen, and facilitated us changing decorators to receive a much better result for the same amount of money. Kassia worked closely with us to make our dream wedding come true. I (bride) remember how picky I was regarding flowers and head table design. She knew how important the head table and overall ballroom design was to us and she did not let us down. On the wedding day when she revealed the ballroom, my husband and I were shocked at how beautiful everything was! She had included every little detail we asked for. Details starting from signature drink signs to floral and table arrangements. Kassia really listened to what we wanted and made our dreams come true. We are so happy that we hired her.

Above all else, we could tell that Kassia truly wanted us to enjoy our wedding day and have everything be exactly as we wanted – and she delivered. She took a lot of work off of our hands, and saved us a lot of money along the way.

Thank you Kassia!

A few words about my experience with Lauren:

Magical!... is the one word I would use to describe my big day; without Lauren's support, guidance and execution I never would have had the wedding of my dreams. It’s so hard to capture everything she did for us in just a few sentences as she did so much!! Lauren was my source of knowledge, an advocate for my vision, my problem solver and through all that became a great friend. Lauren did everything from finding the venue at the beginning to making sure the guests could get home at the end of the night – and all things in between! She’s everything a wedding planner should be – organised, calm, well connected, a perfectionist who takes the time to understand her clients and exceed their expectations. My wedding would not have been the same without Lauren. She ensured that every moment was perfect and stress free.Lauren, your professionalism and eye for detail is second to none. Rob and I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. You will be in our hearts forever, thanks you for giving us the day of our dreams!!! We love you

Twelfth Night Events was everything we hoped for and more! If you aren’t sure if a planner is worth the extra expense, when it comes to Twelfth Night Events, it’s the best money spent! They answered all our questions, kept us on track, offered advice and suggested vendors who were equally amazing to work with, all while supporting and being open to vendors we already had in mind, even when they hadn’t worked with them before. They took our vision (which was difficult to put into words) and made it come to life, in a dream come true day! Our day was absolutely flawless all thanks to TNE and it ran so smoothly! Even our guests were commenting on how well organized the day was and the attention to detail, which was all thanks to TNE! We never worried about anything leading up to the day and especially on the big day because we knew TNE had everything under control. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have TNE by our side! We can’t stress enough how amazing our day was all thanks to the TNE team. We miss working with them and will for sure keep them in our lives first as friends then as TNE!!

My husband and I had the most perfect wedding and we owe it all to Lauren at Twelfth Night Events! TNE is the reason I was the stress-free bride I never imagined I could be, the reason I was able to enjoy our 7 month engagement and most definitely the reason why we were actually able to indulge in the best day of our lives! I’m a very organized individual who loves planning events and is slightly obsessed with weddings, so many people asked why I needed a wedding planner. These qualities are the very reason I knew that I needed a professional wedding planner that I could trust to handle all the details with as much care and attention as I would have liked to do myself. She was extremely organized so I didn’t have to be, she kept track of details, so I didn’t have to, read fine lines, went above & beyond, so that I didn’t have to. It was such a treat to sit back and soak up every ounce of our own wedding without worrying about timing, problem solving, set up and the simple (yet important) details that Lauren took care of. Throughout the planning, Lauren was always easily accessible via phone, email or text! Without fail, all my questions would be answered in no time! Although I knew she had dozens of other weddings to plan, she always made me feel like ours was the only one on her mind. I don’t know how she can juggle her time and attention so well; it truly is a special talent! On our Big Day, we were blown away! Lauren has an amazing eye for décor! She used my personal touches to transform our wedding venue into a beautiful, elegant space – inside and out! Everything went off without a hitch and we felt like we were really able to attend our own party! The whole day was orchestrated so seamlessly, I don’t know how anyone does it without the help of a professional wedding planner like Lauren. Thank you Lauren for allowing us to be present for every moment of our day, that is a unique gift and we are forever grateful for the memories you allowed us to create!

When my husband and I got engaged, with the excitement also came the stress of having to plan a wedding. I didn’t know what vision/theme I wanted, or what vendors to contact. I began to stress over the enormity of planning the big day and realized this would be too much for me to plan on top of my already busy schedule. Whether you have a 50 person wedding, or a 300 person wedding this is an enormous event! Almost immediately my best friend, a makeup artist with much experience in the wedding industry, told me I needed to hire Lauren and the Twelfth Night Events team. She explained to me that her brides who had Lauren were the least stressed, the happiest, and of course had the most beautiful weddings. As I had always had a love affair for beautiful weddings and an obsession with luxury wedding magazines, I began to research Twelfth Night Events and fell in love with what I saw! I realized immediately that Lauren was the one for us to help make our wedding dreams come true! I contacted Lauren immediately and we met. I was so impressed with how quick to respond Lauren was to my original email, on a holiday nonetheless. Throughout our engagement Lauren’s professionalism and attention to detail never wavered, as she came along for meetings with vendors and helped us negotiate pricing, make adjustments to contracts and many more things I’m sure I have no idea about that happened behind the scenes. She suggested vendors that could provide the service and results that we wanted, and didn’t waste our time with vendors that could not. Helping us create our perfect day was not the easiest thing, as my husband and I had very conflicting visions of what we wanted our wedding to look like! I wanted modern and my husband wanted romantic, and somehow Lauren worked with our vendors and produced exactly what we both envisioned. Lauren handled every email and correspondence from every vendor; most brides have overflowing inboxes and phones ringing off the hook. Not me! Many times through the engagement people would try to sympathize with me, without me even saying anything! As if its an unwritten law that brides have it bad, saying “oh, don’t worry, your wedding will be here soon and the stress will be gone!” I would immediately correct them and say “Oh no, I have a wedding planner. We are good! I don’t want my engagement to be done! I love being a bride!!”. Explaining this was due to Lauren, was a huge understatement. I had zero stress, zero anxiety, nothing to worry about – other than of course the normal excitement of my big day approaching. What I loved most about Lauren during our planning process was that little things that my husband or I mentioned to her that even WE forgot about, Lauren remembered. She genuinely cared about my husband and I, and it reflected in the every aspect of her work. When our big day finally arrived, we both simply got to be bride and groom, relax and take every moment in. There are so many things that happen the day before and the day of your wedding that brides have no idea about, or realize until the last minute, and Lauren handled them all. From paying vendors, to ensuring everything is set up according to contract and plan, dealing with any mishaps or changes to plan, and of course ensuring everything runs on schedule. As a strong A-type personality this was incredibly important to me, and Lauren blew my mind when it came to being even more A-type and organized than I was. From the first look, to walking down the aisle, to dinner service our entire day was absolutely perfect. I will never forget shortly before walking down the aisle, feeling incredibly anxious for my “big moment”, and seeing Lauren walking towards me. Immediately seeing Lauren eased all anxiety and stress, and I was able to only focus on my love for my husband, and of course looking fierce on my walk down the aisle! This right here is worth everything, and is the very reason why every bride needs TNE. Our wedding day was the most beautiful day of my life, and you can see it in our photos. I tell all newly engaged brides the best advice I can give you is to hire TNE immediately. Enjoy your time as a bride and let them do the work. It was so hard for me to write this review because I wanted to make sure it was ENOUGH, that it matched the amazing gift Lauren gave to us in being our wedding planner. Thank you Lauren and TNE for not only being our wedding planner, but in helping our dreams come true on our wedding day. xoxo
