Berkeley Church & Field House

"We got married this past fall. Everything about our wedding was perfect! This venue is so unique and has so much character. Our coordinator was Amita and was amazing! She helped us with our timeline, décor and our ceremony. We didn't have to hire a wedding coordinator and saved some costs there. If you can request her, I recommend it. Only downfall with this venue is stairs (there are lots and no elevator) and rehearsal is not guaranteed. Other then that it was great." (more)

Kortright Centre

"A pretty darn good conservation area out of the city. A lot has changed and you can tell urban areas have started to creep up to it. Its not THE best and if you're looking to be pampered its not for you. However if you're there for nature trails that are decent and near the city, its awesome. They have wonderful trails during the week for family and you can generally avoid the school groups. This place does need more funding but they have a great outdoor education program for small groups." (more)

OE Banquet Hall

"My wife and I had our wedding at OE banquet hall on Saturday June 4th 2016 (along with my wife's bridal shower in April). Fantastic place and there's nobody better to deal with than Michele. Here's a copy of an email my wife and I sent her after the wedding about how happy we were with how everything turned out. I highly recommend this hall. Hey Michele, again Amanda and I would like to thank you for all you're hard work, our wedding day went absolutely perfect and the hall looked stunning. Please thank the people at mega city linen for us for they're great work. It was great experience for Amanda and I this last year and half in planning this wedding because we got to meet a lot of great people like yourself along the way. To us you're more than Michele at OE banquet hall you are our friend and we were happy to have you celebrate the greatest day of our lives with us. Thanks so much again your friends, Amanda and Daniel De Aguiar " (more)

"My sister got married here and I got really drunk. The management wasn't helpful...but I made the most of a mediocrely operated establishment." (more)

The Sir William Mackenzie Inn

"We were recently married at the Inn in July and it was absolute perfection! The venue/grounds are beautiful and provide many different photo opportunities. We had the reception in the tent which was also decorated beautifully and it was very elegant. The food is amazing, the staff and service are excellent and great to deal with. Jeremy was awesome throughout the planning process, answered any questions we had and was very flexible with our special requests! Having the Inn to ourselves from Friday to Sunday really adds to the whole wedding experience. I would highly recommend the Sir William Mackenzie Inn for the most serene magical wedding, there is not one negative thing about this place!" (more)

St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts

"One of the better venues in the city for live performances. The design and layout lend to a very intimate feel for all patrons. Wonderful staff and reasonable prices put the icing on any evening out." (more)

The University Club of Toronto

Most Recent Review
"The University Club of Toronto is a traditional private club that is reminiscent of the Victorian-style clubs you rarely see today. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is exceptional. The staff takes the time to know not only your name but also your preferences and your interests. The venue hosts unparalleled events, including private concerts with Juno Award winners and musicians from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, speaking engagements with CEOs of international corporations, political leaders, and famous authors, and art dinners with exquisite pieces on display. Fine dining is served in the gorgeous Library while more casual fare is available in the Bar. The Lounge is open for more relaxed get-togethers or to catch up on some light work. For those late nights or bad weather, there are also rooms upstairs at an extremely reasonable rate compared to hotels in the downtown core. I'm not based downtown, but when I need to go, I absolutely love coming here for part of my day or evening." (more)
