I have been working with the Butler Did it for over 25 years if not longer. We have worked on many events together whether it’s small intimate dinners, large social gatherings or Galas. They have always provided excellent service from beginning of the event to the follow up after the event.
I never have to worry when I call on them to provide staff for my clients and I know my clients will be in good hands.

The BDI is a fantastic company both on the administrative/booking side of things as well as on the onsite-event side. In our experience, both are essential for a successful partnership, and we value the competent and reliable office team as much as we value the amazing staff who work onsite at our events.
The booking team is reliable, accommodating and their administration is impeccable even in this crazy time – accurate every time, despite all the changes we have thrown their way over the last few years! Order confirmation, changes and billing are handled smoothly and in a very timely fashion.
Onsite, staff are well-trained, confident, friendly and absolutely lovely to work with. The supervisory team are great at reaching out to confirm event details in advance, and they review and prepare carefully for each event to ensure a flawless delivery onsite. As a result, the working servers are well-supervised and able to handle their duties with aplomb, and without a lot of support from our venue team as we can get busy with other tasks during an event. We absolutely love working with them.

I would not give this company your credit card number. I suddenly ended up with a charge on my credit card - in October 2019. I've called the accounting office and I've sent emails to no avail. Good luck getting accounting problems resolved. Now I have to cancel my card and work with visa to resolve this - a real pain and waste of my time. Never again.

I hired The Butler Did It to assist with a private function in our home. This annual party, to which we invite 30 or more adults and their kids, involves the final cooking, plating and serving of hot and cold appetizers and several large pans of paella. I did not want full catering, but rather, a team who could take charge of my prepped food and present it to my guests, leaving me free to socialize and enjoy the party. TBDI recommended that I hire two waitstaff and a lead cook, and that suggestion worked out perfectly! The staff arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm accompanied by a power failure. They immediately calmed my panic, and got to work with kitchen prep and set up. When the power came back on, it became apparent very quickly that Chef Tom knew exactly what he was doing with paella, and also took on the challenge of breading and frying several dozen jamon croquettas. Servers Maeve and Chris were incredibly attentive to our guests. It was hilarious to see the expressions on the faces of our friends, who had never been greeted at our door with glasses of sangria and hot appetizers. Most of all, it was their personalities that shone. The staff were enjoying themselves, and the guests reacted accordingly, and asked me why I hadnt found TBDI ten years ago. They left the kitchen spotless. The rental dishes were in their crates, the dishes were washed, and the leftovers were put away. A quick tidy up in the morning was all that was necessary. I wont hesitate to call TBDI as soon as we get a date established for next summers party. I suspect that some of my friends will be calling them too.

Working out the details for a small but high profile backyard fundraiser, I knew our guests would be expecting top shelf service. I wanted to be free to move about the party without having to pick up a dropped napkin or grab a drink that needed topping up. With their reputation for solid training and eye for details, calling the Butler was an easy decision. I'm so glad they sent a skilled and charming team to take care of our guests and make me look like a genius!
