We held our Wedding at The Eglinton Grand in September 2021. We originally booked the venue in June 2020, but with the pandemic, there was so much uncertainty with whether our event would go on or how it would be affected. This meant we were in very frequent communication with our Venue rep, Teresa DiPietro. For the next year and a half, she was very professional, kind, accommodating and provided great customer service. Down to every last detail, even in the hours leading up to the wedding, Teresa went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. She was a true delight to work with and made the experience enjoyable despite the circumstances. On the night of, everything went very smoothly and our guests were so impressed with the classiness of the venue, the A/V, entertainment, as well as the food and bar service. Many of them specifically complimented the Operations Manager Joe, who was a great host and was making sure everyone was having a good time. There were so many other great Eglinton Grand staff along the way from the tech, food and beverage, host and managerial teams who assisted in making the night exceptional and were extremely accommodating. For two people who met in Film School 10 years earlier, we fell in love with the idea of getting married at a former movie theatre. Through the pandemic, we began to lose hope we would have the night of our dreams. But our expectations of the night were exceeded thanks to The Eglinton Grand and we will remember it for the rest of our lives. We have since had multiple guests tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would recommend The Eglinton Grand to anyone else looking for a unique, memorable venue. Thanks to the staff for an outstanding experience!

I wish I could give this venue more than 5 stars! From start to finish, Teresa made our whole experience stress free and easy. She was prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular. The food was amazing. My guests are still raving about it. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Toronto area… this is definitely it. Thank you again Eglinton Grand for our dream wedding.

To the on-site coordinators (Joe, lighting technicians, door man, cooks, servers etc) thank you for keeping us on track, ensuring every guest was greeted and served with a smile, and for ensuring our night was every bit of the magic we had pictured. We recently had our firm's 100th Anniversary Gala & Holiday Party at the Eglinton Grand and the entire experience from beginning to end was just flawless! The Sales Manager there, Rebecca Bridge, has been working with our committee over the past year to make everything perfect. She was so quick to respond to questions (and we had a LOT of questions!) and was very knowledgeable and friendly! The actual venue is just a dream and I can say in the 20 years at my firm, it was the best holiday party we’ve had!! Everyone had such an amazing time! The ambiance of the vintage theatre was really magical and the space was perfect for our group of 117. The day of the Operations Manager, Joe, went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed. He asked all of the guests if their food was acceptable. Everyone seemed to love their meals! The dishes were cooked to perfection. The other staff that day, Mark, Aira & Artur also were so helpful, friendly and easy to deal with! I kept saying to my colleagues that they were so on the ball and made the night a snap… they helped us keep on schedule and really took away the stress of the evening so I was able to have fun too! The servers and bar staff were so lovely and brought our food and drinks with a smile. I would definitely recommend the Eglinton Grand to anyone looking to have an amazing evening in a beautiful one of a kind venue.

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how AMAZING the night was. I’ve gotten numerous comments on the venue and the event over-all. The venue itself impressed everyone. The staff from start to finish (including yourself) were amazing and made the entire event effortless for me. Everyone did an amazing job, adding an amazing level of class and professionalism. We had our wedding here on August 16 and the place was great! We didn't have a wedding coordinator, but it didn't feel that way as everyone made sure that things were going well. From the beginning of the process, Rebecca and Sarah walked us through each step and were very patient answering all our questions. We couldn't afford much, but they did their best to work within our budget. Rebecca and Sarah were VERY upfront about everything and made sure to go through every detail. During the night, Joe went around to each table to make sure our guests were fully satisfied and enjoying themselves. Artur did a great job with the music and lighting, and the food was fantastic! Arya made sure things were running on time and helping us keep thing flowing. The team even let us do a special entrance fit for a theatre. The vendors we did have worked closely with the staff and there were no issues. They even let us come in the afternoon before the big day to decorate and run through our entrances. I cant recommend this place enough. Fantastic service and just great people to work with. Thanks Eglinton Grand!
