We recently had our wedding at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, Stacy and her team went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - full of historic charm and needs very little extra in regards to decor.

Stacy was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. She answered all of our questions with patience and expertise (she gave us all the tips and tricks), and on the day of the wedding, she and her team made sure that every detail was taken care of. Their preferred caterers and DJ service are lovely to work with and their professionalism and dedication allowed us to fully enjoy our celebration without any stress.

Our guests were in awe of the beautiful space - so much natural light, and we received so many compliments about how unique and elegant the venue was. We truly cannot thank Stacy and the entire staff at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse enough for helping to make our wedding day so magical. If you’re looking for a breathtaking venue with exceptional service, this is the place to be!

We got married at Enoch Turner in 2019, and it was perfect from start to finish. Stacey was responsive; the food vendors we could choose from were all wonderful (our wedding food was truly spectacular); and the venue itself was unique and gorgeous. Our guests had a great time.

This has to be the worst experience I have had with any event/venue. Stacy who is supposedly the only point of contact for Enoch Turner Schoolhouse has been nothing short of ridiculous right from the beginning. For starters it took me a couple of days to even reach her. The one time I was actually able to talk to her, the phone call was rushed with a couple of check email for everything and no actual responses. Phone call lasted about 10-12 mins before she was able to rush me off the call.

When I was later asked if I wanted to sign a contract since I have been talking to the preferred caterers (who have been absolutely amazing btw) I said that I would like to visit the venue first, because I wanted to make sure this person was reliable. Stacy then sent me a Google invite for the viewing on January 14th to confirm our viewing on January 19th.

We were supposed to have a call on Wednesday, January 15th but I did not hear from Stacy. I messaged her but no response. Calls went straight to voicemail. And there was no response until Sunday (which was the day we had a Google invite for to visit Enoch Turner Schoolhouse). On Saturday I sent another message to confirm, no response. Calls again went straight to voicemail, even minutes before our scheduled appointment.

On Sunday at noon I sent another message email and I got a response at 6:06pm saying that she was sorry she couldn’t confirm earlier and she’s going to assume that we won’t be coming. I let her know by 6:13pm that we were at the venue for our 6:30 appointment on January 19th and would still like to see it, no response till 6:48pm.

The best part is when she finally got back to us, she says that since I arrived earlier there was no one there and tried to blame things on us for arriving early. We were still there until 6:40pm, no Stacy, no one, location was locked.

For a venue as beautiful as this, management really needs to look into the kind of staff that they have. It is really sad when a place has so much potential but the only point of contact is literally driving people away.

We drove an hour and a half each way with our wedding planners, two people had to get babysitters so they could be here, I work most weekends so I made sure that I booked the day off just so it could be wasted on an incompetent person who has terrible work ethic and really does not seem to care for the business.

We are extremely disappointed with the kind of service that we have been met with and do not recommend this location based on our terrible experience from the get go. In spite of trying to cut them some slack and give them the benefit of the doubt, they have proved to be extremely incompetent every step of the way and we are glad that we did not go with this location and be met with disappointment on our special day.

We absolutely loved our wedding at Enoch Turner this July. Stacy and her team were great to work with and executed our plans perfectly. ETS is a very popular venue, but it isnt a cookie-cutter place with a menu of packages. Beyond choosing from their preferred list of caterers, its up to you to design and create the event that you want. That being said, we were extremely pleased with our wedding and can offer some pro tips: -Catering: When choosing a caterer, look no further than En Ville. Sommer met with us right away, asked us about our story, and designed a menu that incorporated our favourite foods and significant meals in our relationship. We cannot stress enough how smoothly catering went from creating the menu, tasting, and coordinating day-of. We also cannot stress enough how delicious the food was and how impressed our guests and we were with the expert professionalism of Sommer and her team. -Dcor: Let the natural space and features of Enoch Turner do most of the decorating for you. We had a small guest list (75) and were able to have our ceremony in the original schoolhouse room. We didnt add a single decoration to that room and it suited us (2 teachers) perfectly. We added minimal decorations to the foyer (seating chart, family wedding photos, guestbook). In the reception hall, we had long tables with simple greenery and candles to complement the green posts. We put the bridal partys flowers in vases in the windows behind our sweetheart table. Go for all of the stringed lights- the room has beautiful natural lighting and they create a warm glow for the evening and dance party. Dont stress about over-decorating the space- its already gorgeous! -Bar: When planning the party part of the reception, we were a bit concerned about our guests leaving the dance floor to visit the bar in the foyer. We had En Ville set up a satellite bar next to the dance floor to solve that problem and everyone danced the night away. -You need an alcohol permit (SOP) to serve liquor. Its easy to get online. However, if you want your guests to be able to drink outside, youll need an indoor-outdoor permit, and you have to apply for that 30 days in advance. Youll also need to supply a drawing of the space, which ETS can forward to you. Just dont leave the permit too late We will admit that we found the venue aspects of our wedding planning daunting, but we hope these tips are helpful!

The venue is the perfect space for an intimate gathering, with an excellent team to boot. The baby grand piano in the space was in great shape so it was a treat to incorporate it into our band.
