Lovely hotel handy to Union st station making it very accessible. While night light in bathroom a good idea it also lit up the bedroom making it hard to sleep - closing the door helped only marginally as it was frosted glass door.
Very convenient location when staying in downtown Toronto. Atmosphere is very pleasant and we'll decorated. Always a great experience when staying here, and surprisingly well priced when compared to other hotels in the area.
Nice hotel, amazing reception. The elevators take a little while but it's a huge hotel so that's understandable. My room was difficult to find and the fitness room is packed and tiny. I chose to run outside instead.

Had a really nice time staying here. Beatrice checked us in and was so nice. We asked to stay in a room higher up, so she upgraded us to a renovated room. She let us know prior that the room was close to the elevator; though it wasn't an issue, it was appreciated. The room was on the smaller size but very clean, the queen bed was super comfy, and plugs were everywhere! The bathroom was also really nice and modern.
I feel like I'm on the set of the shining. One of my favourite places to go. Amazing service. It's a new adventure every time. Victorian charm... one of a kind.Little over priced...but I keep returning. My BIGGEST ISSUE...you have to pay extra for a fridge!!! With the price you are paying (and I've stayed in the gold rooms) a fridge is NEVER included in your room. However, they have a mini bar fridge in the room filled with tempting goodies...it's on a sensor and will charge your room if something is even moved!! The lack of a fridge I can actually use is my only beef.
