Where can I hold my ceremony?

Your ceremony can take place at a private residence, banquet hall, restaurant, golf club, convention centre, or anywhere else that is special to you… as long as it is located in the province of Ontario

Can we have a friend officiate our ceremony?

Definitely! There are two ways to accommodate this request. I can perform all of the legalities in my office, negating the need for me to be in attendance at your ceremony. OR… I would be in attendance at your ceremony, ensuring that all legal requirements are met, and to legalize the marriage. I am also available to help prepare or review the ceremony if required

How do I book my ceremony with you?

Here are the steps: Confirm my availability for the date, time, and location of your ceremony. Select a wedding package. Send your $200 deposit via e-transfer. Sign and return your Wedding Agreement

Is it my responsibility to get the Marriage Licence?

Yes, it is the couple’s responsibility to obtain a valid Ontario Marriage Licence and provide the marriage licence to me in advance of the ceremony. Please be aware that failure to have a valid marriage licence at the time of the ceremony means the marriage will not be legal... we can still go ahead with the ceremony, but we will have to do the legalities at a later time

Maureen did our vow renewal for our 25th Anniversary and we couldn’t be happier!!! Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted, and we received many compliments from our guests. Maureen officiated our wedding in September 2023. She was incredibly professional, quick to respond to inquiries, and she offers ceremony options to meet the needs of any couple! We had guests tell us how great our officient was after the ceremony. They said she spoke very clear & calm, which we definitely agree with. We are very happy with our decision to work with Maureen and would recommend her to anyone looking for an officient!

We met Maureen initially at a bridal show, and after one conversation on the phone we chose her as our officiant. She was extremely helpful with suggestions for the wedding, very prompt on her responses and her ceremony script was perfect for us on our big day! Even guests commented on how nice it was!
