I had to write this to inform the owners of the Inn and notify potential customers.I was at Nestleton Waters Inn for a wedding on August 1, 2016...the long weekend. The catering company is appalling. DO NOT EAT THERE!The menu consisted of soaked salads, elatistic chicken & elastic salmon. All the dessert were box desserts...tasted ok. The roast beef was decent since it was still chewable. I asked for a second piece of roast beef after all the tables had eaten. The man carving the roast beef was very snarky and said to me 'other people have to eat.' I explained that all the tables had gone up and ate. I said 'I don't understand since this is seconds?' He was so rude and said 'what do you want the whole thing!!' I did mention it to his manager and for the rest of the night after he was done serving he hung around behind the bar and gave me dirty looks. He was so angry and you can tell he wanted to hit me. That is childish behaviour, not something I thought I would see from a professional catering company at a prestigious place. Don't get me wrong the grounds are beautiful but the in house catering is bad with customers and the food really was bad. Many people were talking about it negatively the rest of evening. Not a good thing if this is your company.

I was recently married at NWI, and my family and friends were able to stay for two nights at this absolutely breathtakingly stunning inn. The whole day was just perfect, and we couldn't have done it without all the hard work that is poured into this place by every person there. Every detail was so carefully planned out from our delicious homemade treats for breakfast, to the golf carts driving our guests, to the picture perfect... Everything!Any time you needed anything, it was like they were thinking it before you were. And there was never a time where I didn't see a smile on their faces.Their wedding coordinators, Claudia and Helen and all the staff at Nestleton Waters Inn do this job because they are passionate and truly love what they do. They took care of our every request and did everything they could to make sure that our day would be as special as it was. Spencer and I imagined a beautiful wedding, but this well surpassed anything we could have dreamed of. My new husband and I can't wait to return for each and every anniversary!!

There are truly no words to accurately express what my husband and I have been feeling over the past few weeks and throughout the entire planning process. Perhaps we overuse the phrase "the best time of my life", but it's the only thing that we can think of to genuinely express our day at Nestleton. We are so happy with our experience that I may have gone a little in depth with this review, but honestly, you should read it!We are a young couple who love to have fun. We live out in Vancouver, BC, and could not have been more lucky to find this beautiful venue. To anyone having to plan a wedding in a city where you do not reside, this place makes it as easy as they possibly can on you.We received SO many compliments from so many different people. We had an amazing mix of guests; relatives from France & Belgium, a large number of our Italian relatives, friends of all ages from all stages of life, couples, young families, large families, people flying solo, etc, etc, and every single person complimented us on every aspect of our wedding, which again, was not accomplished without all of Nestleton's help and planning.Everything we had at our wedding was linked to our planning with Nestleton. We received several compliments on our ceremony which was done by Gary Nettleship, recommended to us by the inn. We received compliments specifically to the food and drink service, which came when we chose Nestleton. We received MANY compliments on the food by people who are hard to impress. This choice is mandatory when you choose this venue, but not to worry because it's definitely part of the appeal. The catering service is called "The Table" which provides farm fresh, organic, local and delicious food.We received an AMAZING DJ IN David Greenidge, who was patient and professional. Almost every person we encountered complimented our music. Yes, yes to a large degree we made our choices and general music favourites, but without a good DJ to perform this for you, then you might as well have none at all lol.The flowers, photographer & videography were not mandatory, but offered as potential options just to make your life a bit easier. The flowers were done by Bella Donna Flowers, which Donna pulled off even more perfectly than I had envisioned. We were awe struck by the videography and their drone at AIA Photoraphy. The photographer, Mark Ridout, I KNEW was going to be amazing. When I looked at the few options at one of our meetings, he stood out immensely. He's fun to have around and takes great pictures.Lastly, the venue. Several people asked us how we found this place, most commenting on how unique and different it was. The beautiful grounds, the dance floor overlooking the pond, the decorations.. it was all perfect. The best part about it was being able to continue celebrating after the reception shut down at midnight. We booked the whole inn for our family and friends and were able to keep the festivities going well into the night. The staff provided us a beautiful, hangover curable brunch the next morning and a smooth morning checkout. We can't thank the venue and staff enough. Thank you so much!!
