The Royal Botanical Gardens is definitely a Hamilton must visit! Beautiful gardens and flowers especially the Mediterranean green house and the cactus and succulent collection. We went to watch a garden music night show me and my father and we really enjoyed it.The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the pass is only valid for one day only. Unlike some other museums and gardens, where a single pass could be valid for 3 consecutive days. That's the only suggestion I have especially that the RBG is 27km long (1100 hectares).

Took my plant-loving boyfriend to the gardens and he loved it! We only had about 2 hours to explore so we will definitely come back to see other parts of the place. The people at the front desk were so helpful and at Plant Information, they even helped us identify a plant we couldnt find a sign for (out of the whole gardens??!!!) Amazing place, will be back for sure!

This place is gorgeous and huge! Each of the gardens can be driven to, or there are several trails throughout the gardens that you can walk through. Our favorite garden was the rock garden, but everything had its own beauty. We usually check out botanical gardens and conservatories when we go on trips, and this is probably the largest one we have been to. You can spend your whole day here and still have things to do for another time. I highly recommend this stop for any plant lovers out there.

Attended an exhibit called "Spiders: Alive!" here with my wife, and it was put together after dark, from 7 to 10pm. The event was very well planned. The display areas for the different eight-legged friends were nicely set up and loaded with info. A cool "live feeding" show was also done, with descriptions of the furry friends and all of that. The place was well set up for an adult crowd this night too, offering alcoholic beverages and food on the premises at specific locations. The gardens themselves are beautiful and I've seen them through photos, but I look forward to attending this place in the spring and summer to see it in daylight in all its majesty. This show was cool

Beautiful grounds. When parking ( however)park directly in front of the building not beside the grounds across the street where everyone parks but NO SIGNS ARE INDICATIVE OTHERWISE, wherein you would think is fine. BUT IT IS A HIKE ACROSS TRAFFIC TO GET TO THE BUILDING YOU PAY AT TO GO THROUGH A TUNNEL BACK TO WHERE YOU WHERE.My aged parent walked an exceptional amount due to this in very high temperature. Also the fact the the grounds had a beverage manager selling $3.90 tea laughingly told me he has no knowledge of teas when I asked a question. Those are to cons. The pros.Beautiful facility.A highly talented cellist playing was magnificent.Only $33.00 for two admissions. The inside housed a room with Lillie's that was intoxicating with nice smells.A ROSE show was quite nice. The volunteers seem very busy.My mom enjoyed it but the walking after parking on different side of the street only to walk back to where we parked to view the grounds was too much for her and we won't likely return soon.
