"We hosted our Christmas wedding at Archeo and couldn't be happier with our experience. The restaurant itself is incredibly beautiful and needs so little decorations, as it is gorgeous on its own. The planning process was a breeze, with our coordinator Victoria helping us at every step of the way. She was sure to remind us well before upcoming deadlines and provided us with an events package that made planning so much easier. The food was AMAZING, all night long our guests told us how happy they were with the food. And then there is the staff...they were thoughtful and attentive and went over and above to make sure myself and my husband and of course all our guests were happy. We are still on cloud nine weeks later and that has so much to do with Archeo and Distillery Events." (more)

The Albany Club

"We held our wedding at the Albany Club in March 2017. From the initial planning stages months before to the last dance on the big day, it was perfect. The venue itself looked amazing on our wedding day and was exactly how we had envisioned it. We had a large number of guests and were concerned it might be too tight, but we were pleasantly surprised how everyone fit in comfortably - not only in the main dining room but also in the John A Macdonald room upstairs during the cocktail reception. April was a huge help throughout the planning process - always answering our long list of questions. On the day of the wedding, she was on hand making sure everything went smoothly...and it did. The entire staff was amazing and were efficient and friendly. All of our guests raved about the food. We can't say this enough - the food was not just great "for a wedding", it was truly delicious. A late night buffet of grilled cheese, French fries and onion rings topped the night off. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Albany Club for your wedding or event. It was a perfect day. " (more)

St. George's Golf and Country Club

"My husband, Darryl, and I were married earlier this year in May and held our reception dinner and celebration at St. George's Golf and Country Club. We had an extended engagement which allowed for plenty of time to research and compare our options. I have to say that I am so glad we found St. George's!! It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of size, atmosphere, and overall excellence. From the first visit, through the many subsequent visits (there were many!), up to the event day, St. George's always made us feel welcome, made time to see us, never rushed us, delivered amazing service, and really prioritized our day. I found the team to be extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating, and could not have asked for more from a venue. We loved every second of our wedding, including the planning process, and I whole-heartedly believe that it comes down to the vendors you choose. Even our guests complimented the venue, service and food! I would recommend St. George's to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat. Alyssa and her team were absolutely amazing!!" (more)

The University Club of Toronto

Most Recent Review
"The University Club of Toronto is a traditional private club that is reminiscent of the Victorian-style clubs you rarely see today. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is exceptional. The staff takes the time to know not only your name but also your preferences and your interests. The venue hosts unparalleled events, including private concerts with Juno Award winners and musicians from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, speaking engagements with CEOs of international corporations, political leaders, and famous authors, and art dinners with exquisite pieces on display. Fine dining is served in the gorgeous Library while more casual fare is available in the Bar. The Lounge is open for more relaxed get-togethers or to catch up on some light work. For those late nights or bad weather, there are also rooms upstairs at an extremely reasonable rate compared to hotels in the downtown core. I'm not based downtown, but when I need to go, I absolutely love coming here for part of my day or evening." (more)

The Lodge On Queen

Most Recent Review
"The Lodge is a beautiful space on Queen Street that can be used for a variety of events - I've had a party there, and recently I also filmed part of a short film there. It's great for a number of activities, and Ron and Diane are excellent with accommodating the specific needs of each event. It's also in an incredibly convenient location, which makes it easy to bring in your own food and beverage, and it's easy for people to get to. I'd absolutely recommend it." (more)
