Book a memorable event at the historic John Street Roundhouse, in the heart of downtown Toronto. From large corporate events to intimate gatherings, choose from one of our unique event spaces with the iconic Toronto skyline as your backdrop. We work with the best vendors and partners to deliver a seamless event experience each time.

We have been the premium venue choice for thousands of corporate meetings, receptions, galas, product launches, film shoots, weddings and private events for over 20 years.

Pilsner and Locomotive Hall pay homage to the century year old historic landmark, by showcasing the original architecture including; cobblestone patios with locomotive trains and exposed tracks, original brick and beam indoors, and large pane windows with soaring ceilings.

Across from the MTCC, 2 min walk from GO station and Up Express, surrounded by hotels and at the foot of the CN Tower, all roads lead to Steam Whistle.

Excellence! Tess and her team at The Steam Whistle are the epitome of excellence on all levels.
Their commitment to excellence is evident at every step and stage of planning right through to the event day ! Tess and team went above and beyond for C and J's wedding, with an "Unmatched attention to detail" , resulting in a memorable and " top shelf" event for all of the guests- most of whom had never been to Toronto, or Canada.
It is without a single hesitation that our family recommends The Steam Whistle !

Our wedding day at Steam Whistle was everything we had ever dreamed of! Every person on the team made our day extra special, from the servers, bartenders and set-up staff, to the venue supervisor who helped everything go smoothly - everyone made sure our day was cared for and we were in such good hands! The venue is so stunning, the string lights made the dance floor so beautiful! Downtown Toronto on a hot summer night is such a perfect spot and easily accessible for everyone to enjoy. I would 100% recommend this spectacular venue to anyone who loves the city and wants a perfect brewery wedding!

Tess, you were a guiding light from the start. Organized, thoughtful and always a step ahead. Your support leading up to the day helped us feel calm, confident and genuinely excited. And Deniz…wow. On the day of you and your crew delivered! Every detail was executed with such grace and precision. You truly stepped up and made everything run so smoothly behind the scenes and we noticed (so did our guests!).

We’re still getting messages from friends and family raving about how beautiful everything was and how seamless the day felt. That’s all because of the dream team that is Tess and Deniz.

Huge thanks to Steam Whistle and the Food Dudes for organizing and delivering a fabulous and safe corporate holiday event amid huge constraints. From the outset, the team at Steam Whistle was in solution mode for us... they managed to deliver a socially distanced event for a large group that ended up feeling warm and intimate. The menu was fantastic, with passed appetizers, passed desserts, and four outstanding food stations to meet all tastes and dietary needs. The room was beautiful with the addition of a round bar and gorgeous table settings. Above all else, and as mentioned by other reviewers, the service was extraordinary. From the first phone call to the delivery of the final invoice - consummate professionalism, helpful advice, friendly and positive attitude. We could not have asked for better.

Steam Whistle is hands down one of my favourite venues in the city! It has history, elegance and ambiance rolled into one package. It's a bonus that there are multiple event spaces within the brewery and each can be dressed a little or dressed a lot to work with all types of events be it corporate, weddings or social. I highly recommend this venue and the amazing team known as the Good Beer Folk!!

Now with the addition of the sleek Locomotive Hall, this venue offers two unique spaces for large groups. Both spaces offer great flexibility with set up and design.
