The Lake House

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lake House. It was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue – it’s in a stunning area with a beautiful view. Lots of choices as far as where to do the ceremony, dinner, and dance floor. Parking is a little tricky but not a show-stopper by any means. The food - absolutely exceptional. We tried a wide variety of food options at the tasting and it was difficult to choose just a few meal options – everything was delicious. We chose a stuffed chicken and salmon options, and the guests raved about them. Bar – Service at the bar was excellent; super efficient with lots of choice, and bartenders are fun and personable. Staff and Owner – Paul, the owner, is one of the most genuine and nice people we met in planning our wedding, and clearly very seasoned in this business. All of the serving staff and bar staff were top-notch. However, the stand-out was Chad, the General Manager. We can’t say enough good things about Chad; highly organized, experienced, attention to detail…. but also extremely relaxed and easy-going. Chad was on top of every detail and kept us relaxed and happy throughout the whole evening. He was also super chill when our party got a little out of hand, and really just seemed thrilled that everyone was having a good time – he is a true gem. We have zero regrets about picking this venue – it was the best choice we made in our wedding planning.
