I just want to thank you all for helping to make my boyfriend's party a great success last Saturday night. Giulia, your attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we appreciate all of your hard work. Looking forward to our next event at your place, can't wait to try your pizza again!

I had my 50th b'day party at Piola. The GM, Marco was very accommodating thru the entire process, choosing the menu, coordinating the table arrangements, picking the music. They have a projector which we used to display a slide show of special past moments I shared with friends and family. We decided to go with a family style starter, I was told that they make the best gnocchi in town with a variety of sauces, so we chose this option which turned out to be a great hit with all of my guests, We than had them choose their own mains from the main menu, topped off with a great selection of their homemade desserts, compliments to the chef the food was excellent. Also I want to thank all of the staff that served us, especially Jay, Amos, Alyssa and Sheryl. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant for any party. My only complaint would be that you only turn fifty once!

Good for groups and special occasion... Everything about Piola is A++ - Staff was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Atmosphere was comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. Music was at a comfortable volume, and conversations were held, without raising voices. Food tasted great! We had 2 pizza's, 2 pasta dishes, 2 desserts, an espresso and a latte. Flavors of each individual dish was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The espresso was a bit strong for my liking; I prefer a strong bean, as opposed to a weak bean, but I still enjoyed my latte. We also checked into via Foursquare and was surprised to receive a notification of 10% off our bill, so that was a nice added touch. Overall, we will be coming back to Piola again. Thanks for a great experience throughout!

Best pizza in town! - I am thrilled that this amazing restaurant is in my hood. The pizza's are amazing. Wine is reasonably priced. Service is fantastic! What more can you ask for??

If I could give Piola six or seven stars, I would. Not only is the food five-star worthy, but the staff's willingness to go the extra mile is worth an extra gold star and cherry on top of this rating. First, the food. The pizzas are really freaking delicious. Thin crust cooked just the way I like: just crispy enough to hold up to the delicate toppings, but not so toasty that it tears the roof of the mouth. The Burrata pizza is my favorite (generous on the burrata and high on flavor), but the Piola was delicious too. The pappardelle alfredone I had tonight was stellar, as well -- the pasta was fresh (not dried), perfectly al dente and dressed with just enough cream sauce so not to overpower the pasta, plus ham and mushrooms. The Cabana salad is also not to be missed, and the staff was nice enough to accomodate my picky palate (not being a fan of arugula, they were happy to sub regular romaine for it, and it was still delicious!). Even the panna cotta I had for dessert was perfect; a light and sweet end to a fantastic meal. As I mentioned, the staff at Piola is top notch. They were kind enough to let our decently large party of post #tweetgasm revelers in right before closing and stuff our faces with pizza without making us feel like we were keeping them overtime (so sorry!). And tonight, when I returned, they were super attentive and friendly, even though they were stuffed to the gills due to a private party. The service alone has already solidified Piola's place at the forefront of my Italian loving heart. Piola: I love to stuff their food into my piehole-a. I'll definitely be back again. And again.
