Could improve on security and how they treat customers who go out there and spend so much money on over priced alcohol, with more respect. Over crowding.
DONT PAY FOR DRINKS HERE especially from the blonde bartender that looks like a plastic doll i got rum and cokes and she would put 99% coke and 1% rum i know clubs do this all the time but this was so waste youre gonna pay $10 for coke with 1 drops of rum in it. she legit ruined everyones night by cheaping out like that if youre gonna pay for drinks get it from the male bartender instead not her.
Unknowledgable and rude staff. Door girl overcharged us and when I brought it up she literally shushed me. Been here a few times and music is good but crowd can be hit or miss depending on how the door is being run that night.
Was physically attacked by their security. I was playing pool with some friends when a random patron asked to trade the pool cue for a drink ticket. I declined. The patron then grabbed the pool cue out of my hand and struck me with it. Apparently this patron was security and never identified him as such. Security should never unnecessarily cause a confrontation. It is disappointing to see customers having to deescalate a situation caused by their own security and it is completely inappropriate for security to strike a customer for absolutely no reason. Completely unprofessional.
Pretty typical Toronto scene. Went after 11PM and paid $20 for cover. Drinks were also a little pricey with a shot of rum costing $9. At least they had a free welcome shot! The decor was cool, and liked that they had a patio side if you wanted to get some air. There was also a Foosball and pool table which was fun, but glad they moved the Foosball table after midnight as the place was starting to get packed!Overall, good time, and they played some decent music. Not sure if I'd be back too soon, but I'll eventually try it out again.
Having expedited dozens of events in this venue, from food demos, TIFF events, corporate events and more we can recommend The Everleigh with total confidence.
The management team are easy to get along with, professional, and keen to see events in their space be successful.
The venue looks great, with high ceilings and great art lending a hip vibe to events held within.
From a caterer's point of view, the load-in is convenient, and the back of house is large enough to easily set up both a prep area and plating station, allowing all manner of menu choices for even large groups.
A great choice in the downtown core.
Absolutely love this venue ! Great staff, great music and there's always a great crowd. The drinks are well priced and the venue is clean. I highly suggest Everleigh for birthdays or stags and it's got the best Tuesday night industry party going....
